During my wonderful 2 week trip in Turkey, with my partner and friend Ewa, we collected potential jewellery ideas from our gorgeous natrual surroundings. As well as enjoying the fantastic weather which, once again was only felt in London a few days this summer.

Here is what we found (that was small enough to use)...

Well, after four month of not blogging, I finally plucked up the courage to start again. It may seem silly, but I got completely disheartened and fell at the first hurdle. I'm not proud of myself but I felt it was better to admit defeat.

However, four months down the line, I feel like I have the courage to start again.

Here is a little of what has been going on...

I turned 25, 0n the 06th August

My lovely partner turned 31 on the 10th August

My great friend turned 29 on the 28th August

I went to a picnic, had some BBQ's, went on two walks in the countryside, went to Turkey for two weeks, worked, failed my driving exam twice, played, laughed and cried.

And now I hope to be more consistent with my blogging.

I am so unbelievably happy to have received my very own Abigail Percy piece it is so gorgeous, not just the piece itself but the detail she puts into the packaging. It really makes it extra special. Amazing!

...Well after purchasing another lovely book on botanical drawings in Notting hill gate I got inspired to create some new templates for possible pieces. So, the weekend went by sitting on the floor covered in tracing paper and botanical drawing books.

Trapped at home by the snow

Well, like many in London I awoke this morning to find everything covered in a wonderful layer of snow. I am not able to go to work as all the buses are suspended, so that gives me an opportunity to do things I didnt have time to do in the weekend. As well as this, it means i can go to the garden and enjoy the snow a little (which I did earlier this morning). Ok, so that leaves tidying the house for the rest of today. Great!

I am so happy (as you can probably tell by the title of this blog)

Not only is it finally friday and I survived another week at work but, I recieved my gorgeous moo mini cards yesterday. They are so beautiful, cute and dinky little things.

moo.com is an amazing site not only is the quality fantastic but the price is great too. I will be putting some photos of my mini cards ASAP.

... this was one of those situations where you have something you don't particularly like, you don't know what to do with it, then suddenly it becomes something very unexpected.

I had the circle dome shape and didn't know what to make from it and finally it turned into this.

Dragonflies on my mind

...this is a simple elegant piece that can be worn in a few different ways. It is a metre long silver chain that can be worn long (the dragonflies comes down close to the belly button) or be doubled around the neck as wanted. As it does not have a clasp its just a case of looping the two ends around each other.
